Planning - for our Common Goal

Our work begins with planning. The goal of treatment is defined together in planning. We produce a photographic status of your individual situation as the basis for planning. We prepare study models and carry out aesthetic, functional and colour analyses. In addition, we will work intensively with your dentist.

This work takes time, but it is worth it.

You are our patient, and can be sure that together we will reach our jointly-defined goal. Contact means intensive exchange, and is not just limited to choosing colours.

Biography of the teeth

After we have come to get to know you and understand your wishes and ideas you have for your new teeth - we need a close look at your starting situation. We read your study models and photo status like a book. These are the biography of your teeth, and the basis for our work.

Aesthetic and Functional Analysis

Aesthetics and function are combined in your teeth.
One requires the other. The aesthetic and functional analysis takes place in our laboratory, and is a systematic process which we routinely carry out. The result is clear guidelines on how we must structure your replacement, so that the functional and aesthetic aspects are integrated into your mouth and chewing system.

Colour Analysis and Setting the Dynamic Aesthetic

The aesthetic appearance of a tooth is determined by various criteria. In addition to the form of the tooth, the surface structure and the luminosity, the tooth colour and the interior, three-dimensional quality of a tooth are important. We look for a reference tooth for the colour analysis, and study it in detail. We look at it in order to decode your colour code. This colour code is documented during the colour analysis.

This colour code is skilfully reproduced in dental ceramic material when the teeth come to be reconstructed later. The desired colouration this produces looks different depending on the light, and must therefore be able to respond to this changing dynamic in order to appear pleasing in all everyday situations.
